Opinion:
I think that is awesome! She is lucky that she got to have such a great experience and she  didn't have to travel anywhere too.

A Little too MUCH!

Summary:
An obsessed lady with animals had gone a bit too FAR! A 24 year old named Jordan Ryan has 71 animals and they’re not as average as people think. She has snakes, millipedes, lizards, tarantulas and alpacas! They all live inside her house. She says she’s still getting more for her home zoo.

Opinion:
I think she has too many! I don’t think that I would have that many animals living in my home. She must really love animals to have heaps of them. I wonder how much it is to feed them, buy their enclosures and get all the equipment for the enclosures.
This is a list of how many animals they have:
  • 20 snakes
  • 10 ferrets
  • 10 lizards
  • 6 fish
  • 4 rabbits
  • 4 terrapins
  • 3 dogs
  • 3 frogs
  • 3 alpacas
  • 2 millipedes
  • 2 tarantula
  • 1 cat
  • 1 coatimundi
  • 1 raccoon
  • 1 hedgehog

Can This Be Achieved?

 Kiwikids news ;)
Summary

An Italian artist, Sven Sachsalber is trying the impossible. He is trying to find the needle in the haystack! He says this is contemporary art. He says it was supposed to be for 48 hours, then he announced that he won’t stop until he finds it. He’ll be at the Palais de Tokyo gallery in Paris. People say it’s impossible and just a phrase, but he says the impossible can be achieved.

Opinion
I think this person can pull it off if he works really hard on this one task. I also think that this would take him forever to do. Maybe a month or two. It is a big haystack!

Oh Ooh, That Didn't Go Well!

Summary:
A video that was uploaded on Youtube has been getting a lot of attention for the wrong reason. A young man that was at the back of the interview, had fallen from the jetty and into the water. He said it was because he wasn’t looking and fell. The person being interviewed did not know until the next day when it was uploaded onto Youtube.

Opinion

I think this is funny! Everybody that was watching must have thought it was funny too. The video made me laugh. I hope he is alright and nothing bad happened to him.

Would You Do This?

Summary:
Do you have a sneeze diary? Well Paul Fletcher has had his diary for over 7 years. He’s sneezed exactly 4,000 times! He started in 2007 and is still going.  You can read his blog (click here).

Opinion:
I think this is weird! I think he is the only person that does this. I don’t think I will ever do this, but my sister Maraea might.

Would You Be Spooked Out?

Summary:
Staff at the Barnsley Auction Centre say a ghost is haunting the place! On security cameras, an old cabinet’s glass breaks into little pieces.

Opinion:
I think this is really freaky, but I also think it’s awesome too. I would want to see this even though I'd be freaked out at the same time. Lucky no one was inside the building or they'd get the fright of their life.

Watch Out For What You Buy!!!

Summary:
Countdown have been selling Honey Poppas that have glass in their box! They say that they will give a refund and will keep selling them.

Opinion:

I think this is very bad for the people that are making Honey Poppas and is bad for Countdown too. People might not want to buy Honey Poppas anymore. Lucky my dad buys it from Pak’n’ Save. Thank goodness!

5 New Marines!

Summary:
The government opened 5 new marines in the West Coast. They’re called Kahurangi, Punakaiki, Waipu Glacier Coast, Tauparihaka and Hautai. The reserves protect different species.

Opinion:
I think that’s great that they decided to make new marine reserves. It’s also great that they’re protecting Blue Penguins and Hector’s Dolphins because their population is dropping. I’m happy that this will grow the population.

Truck Crashed FILLED WITH MONEY$ $

Summary:
A money truck crashed in Rhode Island. The bags of money fell everywhere, but the police arrived straight away. It was all taken care of.

Opinion:
I think that’s dangerous for the money to be all over the place, but I would have grabbed it . I also hope that the driver is okay and well.

$2,000,000 Dollar Comic Book?!

A rare superman comic book is worth over $2,000,000. The bidding on E Bay is still going. They say there are only 50 to 100 copies left in the world.

I think it’s weird that a comic book can be worth up to $2,000,000. The person that put it on E Bay must be happy.

squid I think that this is sad for the giant squid but great for scientist. They get to study on a very rare species.
